In this tutorial, you will see how to change the engine oil in the KTM 450 EXC, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the engine is cool enough, then remove the relevant lower cover and position a container underneath the bike.

Next, unscrew the drain plug with a 13mm socket, allow all the oil in the system to drain out, and then unscrew the two secondary filters, which should be cleaned of any dirt residue. At this point, simply open the cap of the main filter, insert the replacement, reassemble everything, and pour in the required amount of oil through the designated upper hole.
