In this guide, you will learn the procedure to carry out the routine maintenance service by changing the engine oil and oil filter on the KTM Super Adventure 1290. First, place your bike on the centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the screws of the small cover of the oil filter, removing and replacing the cartridge with the new one, as shown in the video.

Finally, unscrew the filler cap and pour in the new oil!
