To change the motor oil of a KTM EXC 450, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid. Turn off the engine and put the bike on a stable stand. Locate the oil drain plug under the engine. Place a collection basin under the plug and unscrew it with a suitable wrench, allowing the old oil to drain completely. After the oil has been completely drained, screw the drain plug back in and make sure it is tight. Locate the oil fill cap, usually located on the side of the engine. Remove the cap and, using a funnel, slowly pour the recommended amount of new oil, as indicated in the user manual. After pouring the oil, replace the fill cap and tighten it securely. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to ensure that the new oil is evenly distributed. Check for any oil leaks and the job is done.
