Resetting the ECU of the Kymco Downtown 300

If there is irregular operation in the delivery of power and minimum levels until the engine shuts off, let's try resetting the control unit. Turn the ignition key to position one, wait ten seconds, and turn the right knob, the accelerator, to the end of its travel.

Keep it turned for ten seconds and return it to the rest position. After a few seconds, we will see the "engine malfunction" light briefly flash on the tachometer.

Turn off the instrumentation and start the engine, take a test drive to verify that everything is functioning correctly.
