The front brake pads of the Kymco Xtown 300i can be replaced by loosening the screws that secure the caliper to the corresponding disc. Once the caliper is removed, the pin that holds the pads inside the caliper can also be removed: the pads can now be taken out of their housing so that the new replacement pieces can be inserted.

After the replacement, the brake caliper can be repositioned on the disc: it must be secured with screws to ensure that everything is functioning properly.
