Video tutorial

Below are the main instructions on how to remove and replace the fuel injector of the Kymco People GT 125 scooter. First, place the scooter on the stand and start by removing the seat and the under-seat compartment by unscrewing the fixing screws; this will give you access to the top of the cylinder head, disconnecting the electrical wiring.

At this point, unscrew the injector screw, remove it, and replace it with the new original one; correctly refit the injector, replacing the gasket, reconnecting it, and reassembling all other components.

How to Replace the Piston on a Derbi GPR 125

To replace the piston on a Derbi GPR 125, loosen the bolts securing the cylinder head to its housing, allowing it to be removed along with the valve cover. This will enable you to access the bolts securing the cylinder at the top of the engine, allowing for its complete removal and revealing the underlying piston. The piston can now be freed from its securing bolts, enabling you to position the new piston onto the corresponding conrod. After installation, refit the engine components.
