How to remove the front and rear wheels in the Kymco Downtown 350

To remove the rear and front wheels of the Kymco Downtown 350, we position our bike in a stable and safe way, well immobilized, in order to safeguard the safety of the operator who has to work on it. First of all, we disassemble the muffler silencer, unscrewing, using the suitable wrench, the various bolts that secure it in place. Now, it is necessary to lock the rear wheel in such a way as to be able to unscrew the bolt that constitutes the rotation pin of the same. We unscrew the 2 bolts that secure the brake bracket. Move the brake hose 2 notches, in order to be able to move the bracket itself away. We unscrew the bolts that secure the shock absorber and swing arm. We remove everything. To move the shock absorber, we unscrew the bolt that fixes the tube. Once this is done, we can move the entire block and, once the pin has been removed (in the direction indicated by the red arrow, on the images), we can remove the rear wheel. As for the rear wheel, we unscrew the counter-bolt and the bolt of the central pin. Thus, the front wheel can also be removed. To do this, it is necessary to raise the front of the scooter in some way.

How do you replace the fork of the Beta Xtrainer?

The replacement of the Beta Xtrainer fork is done by loosening the screws that fix the front wheel to its housing: the screws will be located on the sides of the lower part of the fork. Furthermore, it will be necessary to unscrew the screws that fix the front brake caliper, so that it is removed from the disc. Now it will be possible to proceed by removing the wheel so that the fork is released: the fork must in turn be detached from its housing by loosening the screws on the upper part and removing the clamps corresponding to the fender. By doing so, it will be possible to insert the new fork and assemble all the removed parts.
