How to Replace the Rear Brake Pads on the Kymco AK 550

You can replace the rear brake pads on the Kymco AK 550 by loosening the screws that secure the brake caliper in its housing: once these screws are loosened, you can detach the caliper from the disc so that the pads inside can be extracted. The pin that holds them in place must also be removed to allow the new pads to be installed: secure the new pads in the caliper, then reinstall the caliper onto the disc, ensuring everything functions correctly.
