Below are the instructions that will allow you to disassemble and replace the rollers and variator of the Kymco Downtown 300i scooter. First, place the scooter on the centre stand and start unscrewing the screws securing the transmission cover; then remove the casing, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the nut of the central fan to remove it; disconnect the drive belt and disassemble the variator and then the rollers. Install the new components by refitting the variator, the belt, and finally the transmission casing!
