Today's guide will show you how to remove and replace the seat and fuel tank cover of the Kymco People GT 300i scooter. First, place the scooter on the centre stand and begin to lift the seat; unscrew the two fixing screws found on the hinge to remove it, as shown in the video.

Next, unscrew the screws of the plastic cover of the fuel tank, disconnecting the electrical connector located underneath to remove it; refit the new cover and finally install the seat by reversing the procedure!

How to Remove the Engine from the KTM XC-W 300?

To remove the engine from the KTM XC-W 300, loosen the bolts that secure it to its housing in the centre of the frame: once the support bolts are removed, proceed to loosen the bolts securing the exhausts and then disconnect all related connectors. At this point, remove the pin and ring that secure the piston to the connecting rod: you can now access the crankshaft and all other internal components. After any necessary replacement, reassemble the engine to ensure everything functions correctly.
