The process of changing the engine oil and oil filter on the Kymco People GT 300i takes just a few minutes and requires no special tools. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, also removing the small filter, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter cartridge and replace it with a new one, as shown in the video.

At this point, unscrew the filler cap and top up with the correct new oil!
