In order to replace the headlight bulb of the Kymco Downtown 300i, it is necessary to loosen the screws that secure the panels located at the front of the vehicle fairing: once the fixing screws of these panels have been loosened, those on the inside of the front fairing can be unscrewed, so that the latter can be removed from its housing. Now it will be possible to proceed by unscrewing the screws that secure the corresponding headlight, disconnecting the connector and removing the bulb inside; in this way the fairings can be reinstalled.

First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we position a container under the motorcycle, locate the drain hole bolt and unscrew it using a 17mm socket wrench. We then let all the oil in the engine drain out, open the filter housing and insert the replacement. At this point, all that's left to do is tighten the bolt and, through the designated hole, add the required amount of oil.
