Replacement of Cabin Air Filter

Model: Lexus RX Xu10, MK 1 - Years 1997-2003

To replace the cabin air filter on this model of car, you need to open the glove compartment on the passenger side. On the front side of the glove compartment, as you can see, there is a cover that is part of the glove compartment itself. The cover needs to be removed to extract the filter along with its support frame. Once the filter is extracted, replace it with a new one. Reinstall the new filter ensuring that the edges of the filter are positioned under the retaining tabs on the support frame. Now reinsert the filter holder with the new filter into its housing. Replace the cover on the wall of the glove compartment. Make: LEXUS Model: RX300 Year: 2001.
