Guide to Engine Oil Replacement

Model: Lexus IS MK 2 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Engine oil

Changing the engine oil is one of the most important things to do to ensure the proper functioning of the car. This procedure is easy and inexpensive to perform. The first step is to lift the car off the ground. It is preferable to leave the sump running for a few minutes with the engine on. Then, remove the oil cap, which is the opening through which new oil will be poured after draining the old. Next, loosen the bolt that closes the oil sump by turning it counterclockwise, using the correct spanner, and once all the old oil has drained out, you can replace the nut.
