On the Lexus RX 350, the fuel filler door may become stuck, possibly due to a fault with the control button or the lock actuator. In such cases, you can still perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this video. First, open the boot, then locate the small panel on the left side of the compartment and remove it. Next, find the actuator lever, grasp it, and pull it outwards to unlock the lock. At this point, you can refuel and repair the faulty component.

Get a screwdriver or a cordless drill, open the glove compartment, and unscrew the fastening screws around the perimeter with a screwdriver. Once this is done, pull out the glove compartment and disconnect the power cables.
