In the Lexus RX, it may happen that the fuel flap gets stuck, for example, due to a problem with the release button or the lock actuator. In these cases, you can still perform the emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the boot, then lift the floor panel, locate the cord on the left side of the compartment, and pull it towards you to unlock the latch. At this point, the flap will be free to open, allowing you to refuel.
