To replace the key shell of the Mahindra Xuv500, lift the key by pressing the designated button to leverage it out of its housing. This will allow you to open the remote and extract all the components inside. Remove the battery and the coding chip, and you can also unscrew the screw that secures the key. The key must be attached to the new shell by inserting the battery and coding chip inside, then closing everything within the new key shell.
