If your car key is quite old and the buttons are worn out, you can purchase an aftermarket kit online containing new controls and proceed to replace them by following the instructions below. First, get a small screwdriver to remove the screw located behind the key. Once you remove the cover, you will find the circuit board underneath, which you should take out to access the buttons from the inside. Remove the old button and replace it with the new one, reposition the circuit board, and reattach the key cover by securing the screw.
