Activating the mirroring function with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on a Maruti XI6 is similar to other vehicles. Naturally, the vehicle should be either running or at least with the ignition on and the parking brake engaged. Connect your smartphone to the vehicle using the connector. In this case, the YouTuber has an Android phone with Android Auto already installed - this is the first step, download the application on your smartphone - so the system recognizes it and displays the icon. Press "Settings" on the side of the screen, then the phone icon at the bottom, which shows the text "smartphone linkage". Press "Android Auto" at the bottom right and go back using the appropriate button. Now, pressing "Android Auto" again will show a warning message about Google Maps. Confirm, and the mirroring function is activated. You will see your smartphone's display on the vehicle's screen.
