Remote Key Reprogramming

Model: Mazda 3 BK, MK 1 - Years 2003-2009

Without the car key, the vehicle becomes unusable. These keys can be reprogrammed easily if one starts to malfunction. Don't worry, it's a procedure that's easy to learn, here it is. Note that it only works on remote keys and can be done with one key at a time, in addition to the faulty one. Get into the car, making sure to bring both of your keys with you, remove it from the ignition (if it was there), and close the doors. Then, open only the driver's door and without starting the car, turn the ignition on three times; then close and open the door three times. Once done, press the lock and unlock button on each remote; now, the first key should no longer work if you've done everything correctly. It's a bit of a fiddly job, but definitely easy.
