How to replace the battery in a Mazda CX-50 key?

Model: Mazda Mazda Various
Part: Key

To replace the battery of a Mazda CX-50 key, start by taking the key and locating the small release button on the side of the key. Press it to remove the mechanical key. Once the mechanical key is removed, you will notice a slot or opening point on the remote control case. Use a flathead screwdriver or similar tool to gently pry into the slot and separate the two halves of the remote control case. When the case is open, you will find the battery inside. Take note of the orientation of the battery to ensure you insert the new one in the same way. Carefully remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the same type, making sure it is correctly positioned. Reassemble the remote control case by pressing the two halves together until you hear a click indicating it is closed properly. Finally, reinsert the mechanical key into the remote control. Test the key to make sure it works properly with the new battery. By following these steps, you will have successfully replaced the battery of your Mazda CX-50 key.
