How to replace the external rearview mirror of the Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W124 - Years 1984-1995

Thanks to the following video tutorial, we will show you the steps to replace the external rearview mirror of a Mercedes Class E model W 124 produced from 1984 to 1995. To remove the rearview mirror, we will use two star screwdrivers, specifically the n°5 and n°10. We open the front right door and remove the triangular plastic cover located on the inside of the rearview mirror. Using the star screwdriver n°5, we unscrew the screw located on the connector. We disconnect the connector and using the star screwdriver n°10, we unscrew the three support screws of the mirror. We then remove the mirror and insert the new one, making sure the triangular part matches, from the outside to the inside. We tighten the three support screws using the star screwdriver n°10 and connect the connector. We screw the small support net of the connector using the star screwdriver n°5 and mount the triangular plastic cover. We close the door and follow the same steps to replace the external rearview mirror on the driver's side.

How to Replace the External Wing Mirror on a Ford C MAX
