To safely remove the factory radio inside your 1987 Mercedes 560SL, you only need a few minutes. All you have to do is carefully read the following guide and follow all the steps described. First, enter the car and make sure it is turned off, then open the ashtray located in the lower part of the central dashboard. Once opened, remove it with your own hands and also remove the metal bracket located just behind it. Finally, gently pull towards you the central cover of the dashboard and remove the radio so that you can disconnect all the electrical cables connected to it and complete the disassembly procedure.
