In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the radio in a Mercedes SL, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not inserted.

Then, detach the two side panels of the tunnel and remove all the indicated screws. Next, disconnect the base of the gear shift boot, lift the console, and remove both cup holder supports.

At this point, simply remove the lower mounting screws of the radio, take out the air vents, unscrew the upper screws, and extract the radio from the housing. To install the replacement, just follow the reverse procedure.
