Despite what one might think, the complete removal of the stock car radio of your Mercedes SL R230 is absolutely a perfectly performing maintenance operation even in total autonomy. Just follow the instructions described below. First turn off the car completely. Then remove all the various plastic panels that cover the perimeter of the central part of the dashboard. Immediately afterwards, also remove the wooden panel. Unscrew the screws holding the car radio and, finally, pull it towards you. Disconnect the electrical connector and you are done.
