How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes E-Class?

You can completely make the Service indicator disappear that is shown on the instrument panel of the Mercedes E-Class by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot and then turning on the instrument panel using the appropriate button. At this point, by pressing the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, it will be possible to navigate within the menu on the instrument panel: you will need to choose the "ASSYST PLUS" option and then the "Service" option. To make the indicator disappear, you will now need to select "Confirm service": this way you will be able to return to the initial screen, verifying that the indicator is off.
