How to replace the rearview mirror of a Mercedes E-Class W211

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

In this video we can see how to change the rearview mirror of a Mercedes E-Class W211 version: first we will have to remove the mirror glass, pushing it forward and pushing down the clip that fixes the glass on the servo motor, freeing it from the anchorage, thus releasing the mirror. Now we just have to remove the electrical cables. Now we will have to remove the cover, inside which there is a clip on the bottom right. We will have to pull it backwards while pushing the cover outwards. (To put the new cover back on, simply snap it in, pressing firmly into place). To remove the glass support, we will have to unscrew the three 20 torx screws that hold the component anchored to the bodywork. From inside the vehicle, remove the panel cover, and from here we can disconnect the two connectors inside, in order to pull out the mirror cables by pulling them from the outside. For installation, we will follow all the steps in reverse.
