How to remove and replace the stabiliser bar along with the replacement of the bush on a Mercedes CLS? Position your car on a column lift, raising it to a comfortable height for access. Unscrew the pins with a socket wrench or air drill and remove the wheel, then begin unscrewing the pins of the wishbone with a socket wrench. Unscrew the pins located under the plate that holds the stabiliser bar, and pull off the bush around the bar. Position the new bush on the stabiliser bar; fit the stabiliser bar with all the attached pins, and tighten the support to the wheel hub. Finally, refit the wheel with the pins.
