Instructions for Removing the Fuel Pump/Floating Unit on Mercedes CLS 500

Today, we will see the necessary instructions to remove and replace the fuel pump or floating unit on the Mercedes Benz CLS 500, first series. First, open the left rear door and remove the seat on that side by lifting it upwards; then remove the protective cover to access the floating pump. Now disconnect the electrical connector of the fuel level sensor and disconnect the fuel hose; all that’s left is to unscrew the ring with the appropriate tool to extract the pump and replace it with the new one!
