Replace the Fuel Pump on Mercedes CLS

Model: Mercedes CLS C219, MK 1 - Years 2004-2010

Is the car having starting issues? Is fuel not reaching the engine? Replace the fuel pump on the Mercedes CLS. Disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seat cushions. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing bolts of the metal cap, and remove it from its seat. Use absorbent paper around the perimeter to soak up any fluid leaks. Unscrew the securing nut of the fuel pump (usually plastic), disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation pipes. Extract the floating fuel pump from the tank. Install the new fuel pump inside the tank.
