How to Replace the Key Battery for the Mercedes GLC

This article shows you how to replace the key battery for the Mercedes GLC. No tools are needed for this procedure. First, remove the emergency key by pressing the designated button. After pressing the button, pull the key towards you. Once extracted, use the key to pry off the retaining clip, as shown in the tutorial video below the article. After removing the back cover of the key, simply turn the key and tap it in your hand to remove the battery, which is a CR2025. Once removed, replace it, reinsert the protective plastic, and put the emergency key back in its slot. Now the procedure is complete.
