How to Change the Key Fob Battery on a Mercedes CLS

How to change the battery in the key fob of a Mercedes CLS? Take your key fob and slide the button to release the metal key. Once the key is extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the key cover and the plastic cap. Pry until the two pieces separate from the cover, remove the battery holder, replace the worn battery with a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cover with the buttons by pressing on the key fob until you hear the locking click. Finally, insert the metal key back into the fob. Check the correct operation of the key fob.
