How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes CLS

To reset the service light on a Mercedes CLS, get in and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to enter the main menu of the digital display. Scroll to the 'Vehicle' option and then to 'Maintenance' or 'Service'. When the maintenance option appears, press and hold the OK button until the remaining kilometres or days flash and are reset. Exit the menu, turn off the ignition, and restart the car to check that the reset operation was successful and the light has disappeared.
