How to Remove the Door Panel on a Mercedes A-Class

Do you need to remove the door panel on your Mercedes to access the inside? Here’s how to do it. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Use a pry tool to remove the aluminum/plastic trim at the top of the door, then remove the lower cover of the handle (where the buttons are located). Use a screwdriver to remove the screws for the upper door release lever, and unscrew any other screws on the door panel. Detach the plastic cover for the mirror on the inside of the panel. Grip the panel and unclip it from the door. Work inside the door.
