How to Change the Battery of a Mercedes A-Class

To replace the battery in a Mercedes-Benz A-Class, open the hood and locate the battery inside the engine compartment. Remove the plastic protective cover to access the terminals.

First, loosen the negative terminal and disconnect it, then proceed with the positive terminal. Unscrew the mounting bracket that holds the battery in place and carefully pull it out of the compartment.

Insert the new battery in the same position and secure it again with the support bracket. Then connect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal, ensuring they are tight.

Replace the protective cover and close the hood.
