How to Change the Battery in a Mercedes A-Class

To replace the battery in a Mercedes A-Class, move the passenger seat all the way back and lift the mat at the base to access the battery compartment. Remove any covers or plastic protections that cover it. Ensure the vehicle is off and disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive. Unscrew the bracket or bolt that holds the battery in place. Carefully extract the old battery, then insert the new battery into the same housing, respecting the orientation of the terminals. Secure the locking bracket and connect the positive terminal first, then the negative. Reposition any covers and the mat, return the seat to its normal position, and turn on the instrument panel to check for proper operation.
