Is the key battery on your Mercedes A-Class dead? Here’s how to change it. Take your remote key, and using a screwdriver, pry apart the rear plastic cover of the key (lever between the key cover and the plastic shell). Remove the old battery, and get a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the cover on your remote by pressing it until you hear it click into place. Test the remote key by pressing the lock and unlock buttons for the car doors.
