Removing the Seat on a Mercedes E

Model: Mercedes Classe E W124 - Years 1984-1995

Is the seat on your Mercedes in need of repair or replacement? Remove the seat and replace it with a new one of the same type. Move the seat back using the lever located underneath, raise the seat cushion, then, using a socket wrench, remove the securing bolts on the front track. Slide the seat forward and remove the securing pins from the rear of the track. Take the seat out of the car: if there are power connectors for the seat, disconnect them. Install the new seat onto the sliding tracks and tighten the securing bolts.
