Does the Mercedes seat need to be repaired or replaced? We disassemble the seat and replace it with a new one of the same type. We move the seat back with the control lever located below, bring the seat up, then, unscrew the tightening screws placed on the front rail with a socket wrench. We move the seat forward and remove the locking pins from the rear of the rail. We remove the seat from inside the car: if there are terminals of the seat's power supply we can disconnect them. We mount the car seat above the sliding rails and tighten the clamp screws.
