Replacing the Gearbox Mount on Mercedes M-Class W163

Model: Mercedes Classe M W163 - Years 1997-2005
Part: Transmission

Lift the car with a ramp to work comfortably from underneath. Using a 16 mm socket, remove all the bolts related to the central lower protection of the gearbox, as clearly shown in the video. Once done, place a support stand under the gearbox and remove the four side bolts (two on each side) of the large lower bracket. After removing them, lower the stand just enough to detach the mount and screw in the new one. Proceed in reverse order until fully reassembled. Good luck and see you next time!
