Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Mercedes Classe M W163 - Years 1997-2005
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just below the glove compartment; to access it, first remove a portion of the dashboard covering the lower part of the glove compartment by unscrewing two Torx screws (size 20); once the screws and panel are removed, open the air duct cap, extract the old cabin air filter, remove any dirt residue, and insert the new filter (it is recommended to use an activated carbon filter) following the airflow direction indicated by the arrows.
