Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Mercedes Classe M W163 - Years 1997-2005
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, beneath the glove compartment; remove the cover directly under the glove compartment to access the air duct; then unclip the filter's retaining tabs and pull it out of its housing, allowing any dirt residue to escape; insert the new filter, ensuring the airflow direction is correct, and reassemble the covers. After replacing the cabin air filter, it is recommended to also sanitise the cabin with a suitable germicidal spray.
