Operation: Where is the battery located in the Mercedes Vito van?

In this video we can see where the battery is located in the Mercedes Vito van and how to proceed in case we need to replace it, a very simple and quick operation. As shown, the battery is not located in the classic engine compartment housing but is instead inside the cabin, below the driver's seat. To remove it, we start by opening the left door, then remove both the side panel and the seat. Next, we disconnect both terminals starting with the negative one, unscrew the fixing bolts, and remove the battery from its housing. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.

How to replace the Ford Transit key battery

Below I will explain how to replace the remote control key battery on the car, take a small screwdriver and pry the rear part of the remote control, (where there is the ring), at which point unhook the back cover and yes will have access to the compartment containing the battery. Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the back cover by re-hooking it to the key.
