How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes R-Class?

In order to reset the Service light on the Mercedes R-Class, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the key and then scroll through the menu using the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel: you need to scroll until you have access to the "Service menu". At this point, you can select the "Confirmation" option and then "Full service": by holding down the MENU button on the left side of the steering wheel, you can make the light disappear from the instrument panel. Finally, the panel can be turned off by turning the key.
