To replace the battery of the key fob for the Mercedes-Benz GLB, take the fob and slide the small button on the back to extract the emergency mechanical key. Use the key itself or a small screwdriver to pry open the fob shell. Once opened, locate the battery inside the compartment.

Remove the flat battery and insert a new one of the same type, ensuring the correct polarity. Close the fob by aligning the two halves until they click and reinsert the mechanical key. Press a button to check that the fob works correctly.
