How to Replace the External Wing Mirror on a Mini Cooper

As the first operation, you will need to rotate the mirror in the opposite direction to the conventional way to close it. This will allow you to unscrew the screws securing it to the inside of the door. Unscrew and remove them to extract this part of the mirror, from which you will then need to disconnect the connector that powers the various circuits of the mirror. For reassembly of the components, simply retrace the steps in reverse, and you're done!
