How to dismantle the roof sky of the Mini Cooper

Model: Mini Mini R53, R52, R50 - Years 2001-2007

In this guide, we will see the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the headliner or the interior lining of the roof of the Mini Cooper. First, we climb aboard the cockpit and start removing all the components fixed on the headliner; we then remove the sun visors, the rearview mirror, the grab handles, the interior lights, and the plastic side pillars, unscrewing the fixing screws, as shown in the video. At this point, we open the rear hatch of the trunk and start detaching and removing the headliner on the sides, then replacing it.

Location of the Fuse Box in the VW Golf 5

Inside the Volkswagen Golf 5, there are two fuse boxes. The first box is located at the end of the left dashboard. The second box is located in the engine compartment, near the battery. On the cover of both boxes, the voltage/amperage and the designation of the fuses present inside the box are indicated. Each fuse corresponds to an electrical component of the car. In case of a fuse malfunction, open the box and use pliers to remove it, then insert the new fuse using the pliers.
