Operation: How do you open the hood of the Mercedes GLC?

To open the hood of the Mercedes GLC, you need to go inside the cockpit, on the driver's side, to locate the red lever in the lower part of the dashboard, on the left. Once this lever has been located, it must be pulled backwards to unlock the hood locking mechanism. Once this mechanism has been unlocked, you can exit the cockpit and move the latch located near the mechanism to fully unlock the hood. At this point, you can lift it and access the inside of the engine compartment.
