How to disassemble the interior rearview mirror in the Mini Cooper?

In this tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the internal rearview mirror in the Mini Cooper, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, let's go inside the car, then unhook the two covers of the support rod by levering, preferably with a plastic spatula, in the respective slot. Then we grab the mirror, rotate it forcefully clockwise and pull it down at the same time, in order to detach it from the base. At this point, we can place the replacement and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
