Model: Mini Mini R60, Countryman1 - Years 2010-2016

Today we will explain how to open the trunk of the Mini Countryman from the inside. We fold down the rear seats of the vehicle and reach the central point where the internal lever is located. We unscrew the four pins using a flat-head screwdriver, using the same screwdriver we lift the cover in order to comfortably reach the lock; we push the lock lever trying not to damage it, first giving it a lubrication with oil. After that, the trunk will open without any problems. The failure to open the trunk from the outside is usually due to a non-functioning lock that needs lubrication or replacement, other cases may be due to the malfunction of the central locking system or the related fuse.
