How do you reset the Mini's Service light?

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007

To reset the Service light on the Mini One, you will need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the key inside the ignition block: once it is turned on, you can press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument panel until the "rST" message flashes. When the light is flashing, you can release the button and then press it again; this will reset the Service light completely and restore the maintenance interval. Finally, you can turn off the instrument panel.
